Wine Label Art

As many of you know,  I am a wine drinker. What you might not know is that I buy most of my wine for the labels! 

In early 2014 I was at the “happy store” (liquor  store) and saw some beautiful wine labels. I bought a couple of bottles and thought how much fun it would be to  tangle around the labels. After many attempts to remove the labels  intact, I finally discovered how to get them off in one piece. 

And there my journey began.  

I typically try to choose a  tangle that “fits” with the label. Sometimes I know exactly what I want  to tangle and sometimes it takes research. I try to match the colors I use as close to what is on the label to make it really look like it’s part of the label.
